Cobb Professional Fire Fighters Endorse Brice Futch for State Senate
(Canton, GA) – Cobb Professional Fire Fighters, a union representing hundreds of firefighters, has endorsed conservative fireman Brice Futch in the Special Election for Georgia State Senate District 21.
“Brice is one of us, and he gets it,” said Daniel Lohman, President of Cobb Professional Fire Fighters, Local 2563. “Many of our members live in District 21, and they know the sacrifices that Brice makes every day for the community. When it’s time to take action, Brice is always there. He’s promised to push support for firefighters and police officers at the State Capitol where it has been lacking. Local departments across Georgia have suffered unprecedented attrition and recruiting lows, in recent years. His representation in Atlanta will positively affect every first responder in the state. Brice represents a safer Georgia. I’m proud to announce our endorsement of Brice Futch in this race for State Senate District 21."
Senate District 21—which includes parts of Cherokee and Fulton counties—is one of the most conservative districts in the state. The seat is open for the first time in a decade. Futch has been fighting since the first day of this campaign to build strong communities, and a stronger Georgia. Futch has built momentum throughout the race – racking up conservative endorsements from Georgians who are looking for a fighter in the State Senate. This endorsement from Cobb Professional Fire Fighters comes on the heels of his support from the statewide organization Professional Fire Fighters of Georgia.
“I’ve spent my life in service to this community,” said Futch. “As a firefighter, when I see people in trouble, I run toward the danger. That’s the kind of leadership I’ll bring to the State Senate. I’m honored to have the support of Cobb Professional Fire Fighters, and I’m ready to stand with them. These men and women are on the front line every day, and I’m looking forward to working with them to build a stronger and safer state.”
Futch is laser-focused on the issues affecting everyday Georgians—from sky-high grocery and utility bills to the cost of raising a family. He’s campaigning on a bold platform that includes championing public safety, eliminating the state income tax, protecting kids from radical ideologies, and universal school choice.
